Every winter, GLMCC opens its doors to the homeless and allows them to sleep overnight in the Mosque. The homeless are provided with food, warm bedding and health checks. On average 15 people stay every night. This project has saved lives in the past due to the fast interventions carried out by the homeless team.

Once a week, the GLMCC homeless team go out and distribute food to the homeless in Birmingham. The food is provided by Greggs, other local supermarkets and some is purchased using donations. In total around 50 people are fed each week.
