Introduction

The Welfare Department

Welcome to Green Lane Masjid’s welfare department. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for our community. We offer a range of services to meet the needs of our community, including youth activities, counselling, elders lunch, domestic violence support, cancer support and a food bank.

Our youth activities include youth clubs for both boys and girls, football and mentoring programs for young people.

Our counselling services offer both short and long-term treatment for a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, addiction, and grief.

We have an extensive process of distributing local zakat to those who are needy in our locality and our food bank provides non-perishable food items and toiletries to those in need within our locality. We believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back, and we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for our community.
