GLMCC Expansion Project

GLMCC Expansion Project

Project Description
  • 12
Our founders’ vision for a magnificent center serving not only the Muslim community but also as a beacon of hope for all has become a reality. For over a decade, our masjid has been overflowing with worshipers, and our dawah programs have benefitted millions worldwide. Our fully-fledged welfare, sisters & youth programs focuses on empowering both Muslim and non-Muslim members of the community.
GLMCC has purchased two plots of land next to its masjid for a future expansion project that will provide resources and support to its community. The vision is to build a centre with larger prayer space, dedicated spaces for sisters and youth, expanded madrasah spaces, sports facilities, and income-generating business ventures.
We are ready to make our vision a reality, we need £200,000 in seed funding to start building a large-scale project for future generations. With land acquired, we’re excited to begin construction, appoint an architect and start conversations with Birmingham City Council about our plans. Following the RIBA stages of construction the £200,000 will cover  stages 1-3.
