What will my child learn?
Tajweed & Quran
- Your child will learn all of the rules of pronunciation and how to practically apply these rules.
- Your child will learn how to read the Quran with fluency and the correct pronunciation.
- Your child will gain confidence in their reading in front of peers.
- Your child will learn to independently read surahs from the Quran without any assistance.
- Your child will also have one-to-one time with their teacher every lesson to focus on areas which may need improvement.
- Your child will develop a love for the Quran and will learn to use it as a guide in their daily life inshaAllah.
Islamic Studies
- Our Islamic Studies curriculum aims to incorporate: The true teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah (Prophetic Traditions) as understood by the pious predecessors of Islam.
- The rights and responsibilities of each student towards individuals, their family and society.
- Uniting on similarities and respecting differences within culture, race and nationality.
- Additionally, your child will be taught the following topics: Aqeedah and Iman (Creed and Belief), Role Models of Islam, Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Fiqh of Salah (Prayer), Manners and Characteristics of the Prophets and Messengers, Rights, Roles and Responsibilities and Islam & Science.
Pure Hifdh
- This specialised programme has been designed for the student who seeks to memorise the Quran intensively. Students in this programme focus solely on their memorisation for 2.5 hours every day.
- The Pure Hifdh Programme consists of 3 Levels:
- Level 1: Three Juzz are memorised
- Level 2: The next 12 Juzz are memorised
- Level 3: The last 15 Juzz are memorised.
- NOTE: The Pure Hifdh Programme is not available to all students. We have set criteria that students must fulfil to gain successful admission onto the programme. The programme is rigorous and so we must assess each student’s objectives, ability and determination to keep up with the demands of daily memorisation.
