Earn an Ijaza in

Tajweed

Work towards an Ijaza in Tajweed by Studying Masterful Arabic Poetry

Course Overview
The Qur’an, being the direct speech of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, requires every Muslim to understand the rulings associated with its recitation. Our 3-year Al-Jazariyyah course offers an in-depth study of the renowned Jazariyya poem by Imam Al-Jazari, which is a foundational text that outlines the essential rules of Tajweed. This course for sisters combines both theoretical and practical aspects of Tajweed. Over three years, students will improve their recitation skills and work towards earning an Ijaza (permission) to teach these principles.
What Will You Learn?
By the end of the course, students will (InshaAllah) be able to:

Master the rules of Tajweed to recite the Qur'an with beauty and precision.
