Asalaam Alaykum and welcome to Green Lane Masjid.

With the closures of the Masjid due to COVID-19 situation, our main source of income has been removed from us. After spending decades building up the Masjid, providing services for the community and guiding our youth we cannot bear to see our Masjid in a dire financial situation.

Now more than ever, we need your duas and your financial support.

The Masjid may be closed but we have continued to serve our community harder than ever before in these times of difficulty. Our income and donations have dried up and we need you to support us financially to help us continue the support we are providing to Muslims.

We URGENTLY need your Sadaqah to continue to provide support during this pandemic and to continue our education dawah and welfare work, we ask you to please give generously.

The Masjids may be closed but let’s ensure our hearts don’t do the same.

The Prophet (SAW) said: “Sadaqah wipes out sins like water extinguishes fire.” (Tirmidhi 614)

 Our COVID-19 response:

Emergency food and medical supplies services to the vulnerable in our community

We have teamed up with partners to provide essential groceries and supplies to the most vulnerable in our community. These include the elderly, all those who are self isolating or cannot afford basic necessities. Our team of volunteers have been rushed off their feet with the demand.

Green Lane Masjid funeral service

We are here to ensure we provide a smooth and swift funeral and burial service to our community.

We have an additional cold storage facility in place as well as a fleet of hearses and ambulances and aim to have facilities to store around 100 bodies Insha’Allah in temperature-controlled storage units.

Our volunteers have been fully trained in how to use PPE and we are available 24 hours a day to collect the deceased from the home or hospital Insha’Allah.
