Raised in a practising family, Anas Tayib memorised the Qur’an at a young age and travelled to Egypt to study Arabic. At 18, he was accepted into the Islamic University of Madinah, where he studied under renowned scholars and graduated from the Faculty of Shariah at the age of 22. Returning to the UK, he began delivering khutbahs, lectures, and regular classes across the community. He now serves as an Imam and Da’wah Coordinator at Green Lane Masjid, bringing fresh perspectives and a diverse skill set to the Masjid. His focus is to increase Islamic knowledge, nurture faith, and be of service to the community.
