What is Itikaf? Itikaf is a deeply spiritual practice observed in the last ten nights of Ramadan, where worshippers dedicate themselves to increased devotion, prayer, and reflection within the masjid. It is a time to detach from worldly distractions and seek closeness to Allah in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

How to Apply If you wish to observe Itikaf at Green Lane Masjid this year, please ensure you complete the online application form and provide the necessary supporting documents:

• Two forms of ID (Passport and Proof of Address)
• A written reference from a known community member

The deadline for submission is the 5th of Ramadan. Due to high demand and limited spaces, we encourage you to apply as early as possible. Successful applicants will be notified by the 10th of Ramadan.
