Itikaaf 2025 Applications are Now Open!
If you wish to do I’tikaaf at Green Lane Masjid this year please fill out an application form and provide 2 sets of identification:

1. Photo ID
2. Proof of Address
3. Written and signed reference

Please note that incomplete forms without 2 forms of ID and a reference will be rejected. Completion of a form does not guarantee a place. We receive many applications for i’tikaf but due to a lack of facilities we only accept a limited number of brothers & sisters. Application forms can be downloaded below and are available from the Masjid Reception.
Deadline to submit forms to the Masjid is the 5th of Ramadan. Successful applicants will hear from us by 10th Ramadan, InshaAllah!

1. Minimum age for applicants is 18
2. No visitors allowed in the I’tikaaf area
3. No group meetings or private study circles allowed
4. Un-Islamic or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated
5. A secure area will be provided for baggage and belongings
6. Front rows in the prayer hall cannot be reserved
7. You must adhere to a cleaning rota system provided by GLMCC
8. The masjid will not and cannot be held responsible for anything lost, stolen or damaged
9. The masjid reserves the right to eject any individuals without notice if he is deemed to have broken any of the above rules
10. This form must be returned with one photo ID (passport or driving license) and one address ID (utility bill, no older than 3 months)
11. A written reference from a known member of the community along with his contact details must be given (all referees will be contacted before any places are given)
