Mission: 56 Green Lane

Project Description
  • 0

Alhamdullilah by the grace of Allah we have been able to acquire a second plot of land adjacent to the masjid for £425,000! This plot of land (indicated by the green shading in the picture below) is just under 10,000 sqft and houses a taxi repair garage and an office unit. The plan is to expand the masjid (currently 30,000 sqft) and become a massive 60,000 sqft complex. Whilst we fundraise for our expansion project the units will be let out to bring income in for the masjid.

We need to raise £425,000 URGENTLY! Donate NOW:

Here at Green Lane Masjid we are solution orientated, our community faces many challenges and we tackle them head on. We have over 50 services running from our site including services for our youth and sisters. Our community needs a safe space to flourish in and Green Lane Masjid aims to provide that. On many occasions our sisters have to pray on the streets due to a lack of space, our services have to be restricted as the floor space is fully booked and our youth do not have a dedicated centre. To move forward as a Muslim community – Green Lane Masjid MUST expand.
